Y Bont Faen Dental Surgery is a mixed practice in Cowbridge, Wales established in 2018. Dr Lara Welch and Dr Nathan Welch have created more than just a dental practice, it is a family-owned business driven by a deep-rooted commitment to creating a lasting legacy of wellness. The Goal:
New website design in WordPress incorporating new brand guidelines. Y Bont Faen Dental Surgery had recently introduced a Membership plan to patients following a rebrand. It was important that Membership page was a prominent page, highlighting the cost saving to prospective patients in comparison to ‘pay as you go’ and the benefits included within the plan.
The Action:
The website design and development process began with a series of sessions with Dr Lara Welch and Dr Nathan Welch to understand their motivation to invest in a new website, understand their purpose and goals. We spent time together looking at dental websites and non-dental websites for inspiration and to gain a deeper insight into vision for the new website.
Website planning involves wireframing and defining functionalities. Followed by creating design concepts for key pages of the website incorporating the Y Bont Faen’s new branding and media, a series of sessions were followed to presents designs and opportunity for Lara and Nathan to share feedback and changes.
Development followed in WordPress, bringing designs to life and CMS and SEO integration. Thorough testing ensures functionality, responsiveness on desktop, laptop and mobile.
Client feedback is integrated before the site goes live. Post-launch, ongoing maintenance and updates are crucial for optimal performance and user experience. This iterative process ensures a seamless, visually appealing, and functional website aligning with the Lara and Nathan’s objectives and audience needs.
