Editorial feature for New Scientist – Life Science Innovation campaign

CEO, Lin Bateson of BioPartner was invited by New Scientist to contribute 350 words to their Life Science Innovation campaign. The BioIndustry Association (BIA) reported recently that the UK’s biotech and life sciences sector is on the cusp of a golden age driven by strong demand from global investors for UK innovation.

The Goal:

MoxieWorks was briefed to write the feature in collaboration with Lin and a few BioPartner trustees. To leverage the PR exposure, it was important BioPartner was representing its key services within the feature to strengthen its profile within the life sciences industry. Ultimately, the objective was to attract new business.

The Action:

We interviewed BioPartner trustees to understand challenges in expanding life science businesses overseas, including foreign investment regulations. Pandemic-related regulations led to increased adoption of vaccine-related technologies, but long-term growth hinges on post-COVID reimbursement and regulatory policies. Understanding the regulator’s risk-based approach is crucial for companies to navigate the regulatory landscape and ensure compliance.

We then helped write the article to build on this.

The Results:

The article was published in New Scientist as well as sent to subscribers online, through social media and at industry events such as BioForward, BioFit and MedFit, amongst others.

It showcased the importance of the life science sector whilst also focusing on how the future of healthcare depends on the innovation and collaboration brought about by the life sciences field.

The article showed the BioPartner’s knowledge and deeper understanding of the field and boosted brand awareness.
